Contents
1 wooden board, 12 purple stones, 12 turquoise stones and 1 stone bag.
Setup
Place the board on a flat surface between the players, marked side up. Choose colours and arrange each player’s 12 stones on the two nearest rows of intersections, as shown on the box. Draw lots to decide who starts.
How to play
Players take turns making one move: move a stone to an adjacent empty intersection horizontally, vertically or diagonally, or capture an opponent’s stone.
To capture, follow a clear horizontal or vertical route that travels around at least one circular loop. Diagonal captures are not allowed. Capture the first opposing stone reached, remove it and leave your stone in its place. No stone may block the route.
After every move, including a capture, the turn passes to the opponent. The player who loses all their stones loses the game.
Remember
Check the starting layout. Make only one move per turn. Captures require a clear route and at least one loop; ordinary moves go to one adjacent intersection.
