1 board, 81 playing covers, 10 number cards from 0 to 9, 1 number-card bag and 11 double-sided challenge cards.
Setup
Insert a challenge card, centred so its numbers show through the board’s holes. Cover all holes, then remove nine covers: exactly one in each row and column. Put the number cards in the bag and mix. Draw lots for the first player.
How to play
Draw a number, show it to everyone and use Sudoku logic and the revealed clues to locate that number under a cover. Numbers 1–9 appear once in each row and column.
Reveal your chosen position. If correct, keep the cover; if wrong, give it to the player on your right. Return the drawn number card to the bag. Play proceeds to the right.
Drawing 0 means pass. Also pass if all positions of the drawn number have already been revealed. You cannot exchange the drawn number.
Continue until all positions are revealed. The player with the most collected covers wins.
