Setup and play

Place the board on a flat surface. Turn the road pieces picture side up and start with the first challenge. Use all nine pieces to build routes connecting the indicated characters or preventing specified characters from reaching each other.

Rules

• An arrow shows characters that must be connected. A crossed-out arrow means their connection must be prevented.
• No road may end without a connection: every road end must join another road or a character.
• The piece with a pool, lake or rocks in the centre cannot be crossed.
• Many challenges have more than one solution, although the answer key shows only one.
