İp Oyunu (Ayatori) – String Game Activity Book

İp Oyunu (Ayatori) – String Games

Çamlıca Çocuk launched its developmental activities series in cooperation with Tohoku University in Japan. Ayatori is the first book in the series.

The publisher presents the book as a way to engage children’s thinking through string games. Its introduction discusses the prefrontal area behind the forehead and its role in thinking and memorising, comparing repeated mental activities to physical exercise. The activity-book format is intended for repeated practice.

Practising finger dexterity

The activities encourage children to work out where to pass the string and how to pull it, practising dexterity, reasoning and concentration. Curiosity, enjoying play and creating something independently are central to the approach.
